What do we offer?

The English Wizards is an institution that specialises in making students adept in English for various competitive exams such as CAT, GMAT, CLAT, CUET, IPMAT, SAT etc. Founded in 2014 by Mrs. Jyoti Singal, over 80 students have successfully gained from being associated with us and are now studying in top notch reputed colleges of the world. Under our tutelage, students have not only excelled in their respective examinations, but also developed a penchant for the English language. The primary aim of the classes is to make a strong foundation in the language so that the student becomes ready for the examination. Our classes are also tailored according to the needs of the student and based on the pattern of the examination.

CAT

IIMs are India's premier institutes for management education and research. Admission to the IIMs is through the Common Admission Test (CAT). It is a computer-based aptitude test which consists of three sections: verbal ability and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning and quantitative aptitude.

CUET

The Common University Entrance Test organised by the National Testing Agency is conducted for admission to various universities across the country. The test comprises of three sections: a language test, domain-specific questions and a general test.

GDPI & WAT

In the second stage of the admission process, based on CAT scores, past academic performance and work experience, aspirants are shortlisted for a group discussion, personal interview or a writing ability test. Here, different skills of the candidate are tested such as critical reasoning, articulation, as well as academic rigor.

About the Founder

With over fifteen years of teaching experience, Jyoti is deeply passionate about advancing the English language. She excels in guiding students to enhance their language skills, preparing candidates for competitive exams, and crafting innovative content across diverse industries. Her qualifications include B.A. in English, M.A. in English from Miranda House, Delhi University, an M.Phil. in English from Madurai University and diplomas in Creative Writing and Journalism. She has been affiliated with prestigious institutions such as ICAI, Career Launcher, and TIME, contributing as a faculty member, content developer, and online instructor. Her expertise spans communication sessions, English coaching, workshops, and SOP/LOR writing.
